Diwali is just around the corner and we all are busy with our respective preparations,Right??So how you going to celebrate ??Do you have any special plan??I would love to know how you are celebrating your Diwali. We all know that Diwali/Dipavli(Dipavali means “row of lights”) is the festival of lights and Diyas(clay lamps) are the integral part of Diwali celebration.Like every year my preparation has already started (few days back) with these painted diyas.
So are you planning to plaint your Diyas (clay lamps)this Diwali???
To bring festivity and to add extra charm to your home nothing could be better than colourful diyas.I know you must be wondering why to paint when it’s possible to buy.Yes I know now a days it’s really easy to find variety of painted diyas everywhere in the market whether it’s online stores or malls or other shops. But the satisfaction is completely different when you are creating your own compared to the store bought one.So that’s the story behind my diya painting. 🙂 During Diwali I paint my own diyas since I was a little kid.Even still I am doing the same thing.I have limited time but with in that I paint the diyas according to my preference and I enjoyed it thoroughly.I guess this is the best part of my Diwali preparation. Here I am sharing few pictures of my hand painted diya collection.Few of them are from last year’s collection and rest of them are from this year’s.
