Cucumber/Khira lassi

This salted lassi is very good for health especially in hot months. It is perfect cooler on hot days.This is a high-energy power drink, yet the addition of the mint and the cucumber makes it taste light and fresh.It’s nutritionally-balanced energy drink, good for a boost before exercise or after exercise.You can have it before lunch or post lunch.

Makes 2 glasses
Type: Beverage
Ingredients:
Cucumber – 1 (medium sized cucumbers)
Yogurt / Curd/Dahi – 2 cups Fresh
Green Chilli – 2 (chopped finely)
Mint leaves – few
salt to taste
Sprigs of mint to garnish
Cucumber ribbon for garnish or even You can use slices
1/2 tsp-Fresh roasted cumin/zeera powder(Dry roast the cumin seeds and grind it)
Some ice cubes

Method :
1. Wash and clean the cucumber. Remove its skin and cut into small pieces.
2. In a blender, add the chopped cucumber, curd / yogurt, green chillies, mint leaves,roasted cumin powder and salt( i have used both normal salt and black salt in 1:1 ratio). Blend till it is smooth.
3. Pour the lassi in a glass and put some ice cubes.
4. Garnish with some mint leaves,cucumber slices/ribbon and roasted cumin powder and serve it chilled.
